On Monay, June 28th, Councilman Jim Kenney, Bill Anderson of the WURD morning show, and the directors if Philly Girls in Motion, hosted the Philly Girls in Motion Kickoff Happy Hour at The Palm. Celebrity bartenders served drinks and collected tips to help support the new organization dedicated to nutrition and fitness for Philadelphia girls. Celebrity bartenders included Bill Anderson, head coach Phil Martelli of St. Joseph’s University men’s basketball, head coach Bruiser Flint of Drexel University men’s basketball, head coach Denise Dillon of Drexel University women’s vasketball, and former general manager and team president of the Philadelphia 76ers Billy King.
